Bordeaux
Arrival and a welcome dinner, then a Médoc château by appointment and an afternoon at La Cité du Vin, Bordeaux's own museum of wine. A gentle way into the region before the road north.
Cognac
A guided tour and tasting at Hennessy, one of Cognac's founding houses, on the banks of the Charente. Under two hours from Bordeaux by car, the transfer itself part of the day.
Champagne
North to Épernay's Avenue de Champagne, and the cellars of Moët & Chandon. A closing lunch set among the vines, before the group disperses at leisure.
